DP029A // Create a Package Design / Assessment 02

This brief is a challenging one that requires a strong foundation of research and a conceptual approach to the creative process. Luckily, one of the best places to conduct the research (apart from the library and design resources) is in the supermarket. Here is a selection of responses that demonstrate thoughtful attention to the brief requirements and overall polished presentation.

Timothy Excell approached this with a professional, contemporary and light-hearted approach, designed to appeal to the specific target audience.

The final package mocked up and photographed in-situ.

Victoria Jadore approached this brief with enthusiasm and attention to the finer points. She also decided to work on and present all three of her concepts to finished art.

Victoria's first response to the brief: traditional and stylish.

This one is clean and more minimal.

Her final concept is more commercial and eye-catching to the consumer.

Adam Mesaric approached this brief professionally and with a conceptual twist on the traditional pizza package. Keeping it clean and simple, he combined the needs of the brief with his own style.

Beautifully presented; polished, contemporary and fresh.

Rebecca Barkley's design encompasses all the traditional aspects of the brief, whilst also generating visual appeal and contemporary touches. A lovely finished mock up and in-situ presentation.

Professional package design presented with an eye for detail.

Rachael Pope's submission demonstrates a great mock up of her final package design. She has combined photographic imaging with hand-drawn line work which adds up to a contemporary and visually appealing packaging piece.

A lovely mockup photographed cleanly in good light.
